What this means is our dossier has been completed, reviewed, approved and is now on it's way to the China Center for Adoption Affairs in CHINA. Our official DTC date is 9/25/09.
Now we will wait for our Dossier to be "logged in". Then it will 'sit' for a while until it makes it's way to the "Review Room". This is where the Chinese officials go through our paperwork to make sure everything is in order and we are fit to become Daniel's parents. This process and the Letter of Approval that follows can take anywhere from three to five months to complete. (I am counting on three of course!!) I can't begin to tell you what a relief it is to get to this milestone!!!
I'm not quite sure what I am going to do with myself this weekend!! Maybe I will take the kids to the beach!! Yeah, sun and sand... that ought to do it!!
