L.O.I.

Received an email that our LOI has been successfully uploaded to China on June 19th.  Yay!!

Hopefully we will get a pre approval from China soon.    I guess the paperwork aggravation has begun too.   My check and request for marriage certificates is lost somewhere out in space.   "But you can overnight a new request to me if you like."    Every one at work has loved his little picture.    He is precious.

It's a Match!!!!!!!!

We are sooooo happy.   We got "the phone call" that we've been accepted as a match by our adoption agency for this lovely little three year old in Shanxi province!!    In the next couple of days we are to send in our paperwork for pre-approval from China.   I'm trying to light a fire under dh to get his labs finished so we can get the home study completed.  That will clear the way for us to get a lot of our forms submitted to USCIS,  grant apps, etc.

Tomorrow is a very important day

Many months ago I started visiting international adoption websites after being inspired by a very special person who adopted three children with clefts.    Almost right away I found a little boy who jumped off the page and into my heart.   After some persuading, hubby said, okay, write for more information on this fella.   Long and short of it was this little guy has been in an SWI for all of his life.

Tomorrow we will find out if the adoption agency thinks he would fit into our family.  I am trying hard not to get antsy.  Fortunately I have to work most of the day, so that should help the time to go by faster!!
